Pax East 2011: Plants Vs Zombies

Just to prove I'm not a complete slacker, here's a short homage to the ridiculously cute marketing Popcap's Plants Vs Zombies enlightened convention goers with this weekend.

They stationed themselves on the front lines of battle, next to one of the entry doors, and proceeded to pass out Sunflower and Zombie stamped traffic cones that would tickle any fan's fancy.



Hats were only the paltry gift they were offering to passersby, the real treat was if you managed to find their cosplaying Sunflowers and Zombie characters wandering around the convention floor. We tripped across two Zombies in the media line and some Sunflowers intervened to protect my honour (and brains).






Grunts, groans, and smiling sunflower expressions were also their primary form of communication.

A Zombie even made my day while I was waiting in a three hour line to preview the (awesome and eventually worth it) Darkness 2 demo by giving me a grunt of consolation and a sweet autograph filled with love and adoration for my gray matter.
